FIELD: measuring technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measuring equipment, namely devices for measuring the density of liquids, and can be used in the chemical, petrochemical industry. The device for measuring the density of liquid media contains a housing with a measuring cavity, a float, an electric temperature sensor connected to the control unit, an electromagnet connected to one of the inputs of the switch connected by another input to the power supply, the third input of the switch is connected to the output of the control unit, the second output of the control unit is connected to the interface unit, the second input of the control unit is connected to the output of the signal amplifier, the input connected to the output of the silometric element, the silometric element is fixed to the housing with one end, at the other end, a float is suspended through a conical support, in the upper part of which there is a ferromagnet plate located with a gap between its upper boundary and the lower boundary of the electromagnet, coaxially with it, the electromagnet is fixed to the body with its upper boundary.
EFFECT: reduction in the measurement error.
