FIELD: video processing equipment. SUBSTANCE: method processes first frame which elements are located in m1 lines. Intensity of each pixel in l1 line is I1(t , l1) depending on parameter t, in particular, time. This results in generation of second frame which has m2 lines. Pixel intensity I2(t , l2) in l2 line of second frame is calculated by interpolation of pixel intensity I1(t , l1) in first frame. L2 conforms to condition I2(t , l2) = max(J(t, l2)+Δ ; 0), where J values are line samples of signal characteristic which is calculated using sample theorem. Shift Δ is used for partial compensation of negative intensity of sampled signal value J, so that interpolation with respect to lines uses A as arbitrary amplitude of positive value according to equation .
