FIELD: display equipment. SUBSTANCE: device displays picture with elements which color coordinates and/or intensity values are stored in array which parameters are number of lines and elements in picture, line frequency and scanning frequency for first set of parameters with given value of parameters in video memory 12 which is accessed for reading using second set of parameters with same or different values for displaying stored picture using display 16, 30, 32. Displaying device 16, 30, 32 has single light source 16, which is controlled by color coordinates and/or intensity of pixels. Its light beam 26 is projected to screen 32 using optical system 30. Optical system 30 has scanning unit 36, which directs light beam 26 to screen 32 by means of its deviation in arbitrary points in range of image field for image displaying. In addition it has scanning control unit 42 for generation of light beam according second set of parameters. EFFECT: possibility to receive and display pictures in different standards. 12 cl, 4 dwg
