FIELD: manufacture of clothing used in home conditions as well as in stationary medical enterprises by patients apt to loosing vertical stability, such as patients with cardiovascular diseases or psychic disturbances. SUBSTANCE: protective cap has outer enclosure with bead and inner enclosure. Resilient flexible cord with equally spaced projections is disposed within bead cavity. Projections in the form of truncated cone are disposed on cord outer perimeter. Space value is determined by following ratio: C = , where C is space between inner surface of bead cavity and cord projection end surface; D is bead cavity diameter; h is height of projection; d is diameter of cord. Protective cap minimizes head traumatism, when patient looses his vertical stability. EFFECT: increased efficiency, simplified construction and reduced injure to patient. 4 dwg
