FIELD: medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: apparatus is used for locking and dosed displacement of vertebras and their fragments. Access to rear side surface of vertebras is effected through incisions of skin in projection of minimum two vertebras positioned higher and lower than damaged vertebra or of vertebra on level of which osteotomy is to be performed. Then wood screws 6 with faceted heads 7 are introduced into vertebra bodies and into roots of vertebral arches. Wood screws 6 are secured to fixative bearing area 5 of vertebras 4. Vacant ends of fixatives of vertebras 4 are attached to supporting plates 1 and 2 positioned in one plane and coupled to one another rigidly by means of connecting strips. To perform distraction of damaged vertebra fragments or fragments subjected to osteotomy, dosed separation of apparatus supports is carried out. To this end, fastening nuts 20 which lock guides 18 are released and rotated, thus displacing the supports relative to one another. Accelerating coupling 17 is rotated for compression of vertebras or their fragments. EFFECT: uniform transmission of compression or distraction force to front and rear regions of vertebras simultaneously. 7 cl, 3 dwg
