FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: vortex chamber of burner has toroidal convexity directed inside and changing to surface of liquid nozzle. Radius of toroidal surface is equal to 0.7-1.5 of radius of vortex chamber in its initial cross section. Liquid swirler may be made separately from liquid nozzle and may be mounted for axial displacement towards vortex chamber under action of incoming flow of liquid being sprayed. Liquid swirler may be also provided with slots located in body of its tail portion having form of hollow cylinder mounted in central hole of body by slide fit. Transversal size of each slot is lesser than any size of tangential passages of liquid swirler. EFFECT: enhanced economical efficiency due to reduction of time required for replacement of worn parts; improved quality of spraying. 3 cl, 2 dwg
