FIELD: power engineering.

SUBSTANCE: steam mechanical atomiser consists of the following: body with central hole for liquid being sprayed, and peripheral holes for spraying agent; coupling nut; filter-swirler of the liquid being sprayed, which includes filter with system of peripheral holes the axes whereof are located at α angle to atomiser axis, and sprayer with tangential fuel channels and swirl chamber that smoothly passes into fluid nozzle; spraying agent swirler with tangential channels, which comprises together with coupling nut an annular channel of spraying agent; and spraying agent nozzle with throat and conical surface at the outlet. Filter-swirler of the liquid being sprayed consists of annular chamber comprised by two annular channels, one of which is located in filter and has the depth equal to at least 1.3d, and radial height not less than d/cosα, where d - diameter of one hole in the filter, α - angle between filter hole axis and atomiser axis, and the other channel is located in sprayer. At that outer and inner diameters of annular channels are equal. Filter holes end with annular channel, and generatrixes of those holes do not go beyond the limits of annular chamber.

EFFECT: use of steam mechanical atomiser will improve liquid fuel spraying quality.
