FIELD: foundry, in particular, production of hollow billets from metals and alloys. SUBSTANCE: crystallizer has graphite sleeve mounted between graphite housing and cooling device for longitudinal movement of housing relative to sleeve. Graphite housing is provided with melt supply openings extending along its perimeter at side adjacent to liquid metal supply and connected to supply channels. According to other version, crystallizer has end wall disposed adjacent to liquid metal supply side and provided with melt supply opening, which is connected with supply channels and provided with graphite plug. Crystallizer has plug pushing device. EFFECT: increased efficiency, simplified construction and improved quality of billets. 3 cl, 3 dwg
