FIELD: metallurgy, particularly plants for continuous casting of tubular blanks of copper and its alloys. SUBSTANCE: plant includes metal receptacle; mold; mandrel with sleeve; apparatus for secondary cooling in the form of hollow cylindrical chamber with inlet and outlet branch pipes for supplying and discharging protection fluid and also with annular protrusions arranged on its inner lateral surface; and reservoirs for water cooling arranged under said chamber. Hollow chamber is placed under mold, its lower portion is arranged in reservoir for water cooling lower than water level. Mandrel has annular shoulder with through ducts mutually spaced by the same distance. Mold is made of copper and it is spaced by predetermined distance from metal receptacle. Mold and metal receptacle may be mounted with possibility of vertical rocking motions. EFFECT: simplified process for making high-quality blank of predetermined cross section, possibility for making dense blank with uniform cast structure, smooth surface and lowered oxidation degree of blank surface. 4 cl, 2 dwg
