FIELD: mechanical engineering; materials handling facilities. SUBSTANCE: conveyor has support frame (flight) with closed guides secured on support frame at both sides of conveyor. Closed guides pass over driving and end drums. Conveyor has endless belt on sides of which hangers are uniformly secured for movement along guides curved in space forming concave shape of belt in plane square to conveyor axis. Guides on load-carrying section are moved to each other to increase depth of belt chute and in the area of drums they are moved away through distance providing contact of belt with working surface of drum. To simplify design of guides and increase service life of belt, hangers and shells of drum each of conveyor guides is made in form of single tube, and hangers resting on guide are provided with support rollers straddling the tube from top and fixing rollers, from bottom. Radius of surface of support roller straddling the tube is found from equation: Ro= (1,05...1,09)Dt/2, where Ro is radius of straddling surface of support roller, mm. Dt is diameter of guide tube, mm. EFFECT: simplified design of guides, increased service life of belt, hangers and shells of conveyor drums. 3 cl, 6 dwg
