FIELD: materials handling facilities. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to conveyor transport and can be used for continuous transportation of loose loads over considerable distances. Overhead belt conveyor has support frame with closed tubular guides secured on frame at both sides of conveyor and bent around drive and end drums, and endless conveyor belt on sides of which uniformly spaced hangers with rollers are secured. Rollers are installed for rolling over guides. Each guide is arranged in one vertical plane over entire length of conveyor. Vertical plane is parallel to longitudinal axis of conveyor. Each hanger has rod secured on conveyor belt side which passes through hanger body and flexible members on third rod rests through flexible adjustable washer to provide distance from longitudinal axis of guide to belt side proportional to load on belt. EFFECT: improved reliability and increased service life of conveyor. 3 dwg
