FIELD: conveyor transport. SUBSTANCE: proposed tubular conveyor with suspension belt has support frame with closed guides secured on frame at both sides of conveyor and made in form of single pipes enclosing drive and end drums, and endless conveyor belt with uniformly spaced roller suspensions secured on belt sides for movement along guides. In places where belt is truncated to form tube, its sides, from side of working surface, are joined with each other and are bent towards non- working surface of belt to provide reliable closing, with radius of belt side bending found from equation r = EH•t/2G-1, where r is belt side bending radius, m; EH is belt modulus of elasticity, MPa; t is belt thickness, m; G-1 is endurance limit of belt, MPa; radius of conveyor tube in place of belt turning to form the tube is found from equation R = (B-r(π-2α)-2LH)/2(π-α), where R is conveyor tube radius, m; B is belt width; m; r is belt side bending off radius, m; π- is transcendental number equal to 3.141; α is angle defining belt bending-off radius, rad; LH is width of belt side overlapping zone, m. Distance between axial lines of tubular guides in places where belt is turned to form tube is found from equation Lon= 2(R+A)•sinβ, where Lon is distance between axial lines of tubular guides, m; A is distance from belt cover plate in place of attachment of roller suspension to axial line of tubular guide, m; β is angle defining distance between axial lines of tubular guides, deg.
