FIELD: mechanical engineering; conveyor transport. SUBSTANCE: proposed high-angle with suspended belt has endless conveyor belt passed over drive and end drums. Roller hangers moving along guides mounted at both sides of conveyor are installed on conveyor belt sides at equal pitch. Carrying run of conveyor belt forms load-holding spaces between rollers hangers owing to belt gravity force ad load placed on run. These temporary load holding spaces move along conveyor. Tangent line to lower part of each temporary load-holding space in places of location of lower pair of roller hangers is arranged horizontally or at angle to horizontal preventing slipping of load on belt which is provided by preset initial tension of belt of non-loaded conveyor defined by relation S = Q·Ld·C where Q is belt gravity force acting in space between two pairs of adjacent roller hangers in direction of belt movement, N/m; Ld is distance between roller hangers along belt, m; C is nondimensional constant depending on conveyor tilting angle α and found from equation where α is angle of tilting of conveyor carrying run relative to horizontal, deg. Conveyor drive station is furnished with pressure drum and spring-and-screw device. EFFECT: simplified design, facilitated cleaning of belt. 2 cl, 6 dwg
