FIELD: conveyor transport; belt conveyors with suspension belts. SUBSTANCE: proposed conveyor has support frame with closed guides secured on frame at both sides of conveyor and made in form of single pipes enclosing drive and end drums and endless conveyor belt with uniformly spaced roller suspensions secured on belt sides for movement along guides in curved space. Guides are drawn closer to each other on carrying section of belt run to increase depth of belt channel. At drums the guides are moved apart for distance providing adequate contact of belt and working surface of drums. Each roller suspension is secured to belt by means of two shock-absorbing paired tapes rigidly clamped at both ends. Parameters of tapes are determined by relationship Smax= σten.•Bt•i(Kv•Ks.m.) ≅ Sten.cr. where Smax; is maximum breaking force of each tape in longitudinal direction in warp, N/mm; σten.; is tensile strength of one plate of tape in warp, N/mm2;; Bt; is width of tape, mm; I is number of plates in each tape; Kv; is tape load variation factor; Ks.m.; is tape breaking safety margin factor; Sten.cr. is conveyor belt tensile strength is cross direction in weft, N/mm. Distance between shock-absorbing paired tapes of each suspension is found from equation where Lf; is free length of tape, m; Dd; id diameter of conveyor drive end drum, m; t is conveyor belt thickness, m; is tolerable tangential stress of conveyor belt, MPa; G-1is endurance limit of chosen conveyor belt, Mpa.
