FIELD: textile industry. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has vertical knife holder movable toward axis of toothed disk for cutting thread. Blade of each knife is positioned at the end of lower L-shaped leg of related holder. L-shaped part allows thread to pass under knife and be cut by means of subsequent knife. As a result, sufficiently large length of thread may be caught by nozzle. Apparatus provides reliable holding of thread end in sucking nozzle and, as a result, prevents cut end of thread from flying from related thread guide. EFFECT: increased efficiency, simplified construction and enhanced reliability in operation. 3 cl, 7 dwg
