SUBSTANCE: selection device has flexible member positioned in upper part of device and adapted for moving lower part away from cylinder, and lower projection movable for engagement with portion of lifting contour follower. Lower part of selector is provided with lug, which is adapted to be drawn and held by immovable annular permanent magnet directed into internal part of cylinder and adapted to carry electromagnets. Switching of electromagnets allows needle selectors to be selectively released. Otherwise, selectors are held by permanent magnet during rotation of cylinder.
