DEVICE FOR PUMPING-OUT WATER FROM WELL Russian patent published in 1998 - IPC

FIELD: water supply systems. SUBSTANCE: devices and mechanisms intended for utilization of underground water and it also relates to water-intake structures and particularly to pumping-out of artesian water and delivering it to trunk pipelines of municipal water supply systems. Device incorporates electrically-driven pump with pressure head pipeline. Installed in this pressure pipeline is hydraulic sealing unit which is made up of body and inflatable chamber. Hydraulic sealing unit is provided with bellows which are located in bellows chambers. Common upper flange of bellows chambers is installed in lower end of body of hydraulic sealing unit. Internal spaces of bellows are connected with hollow of inflatable chamber through air branching lines provided in body of hydraulic sealing unit. Hollows of bellows chambers are connected with inner space of pressure head pipeline through water branching lines. Aforesaid embodiment of device for pumping-out water from well allows to completely exclude any fouling of inflatable chamber and thus to prolong period of normal functioning of device without need for maintenance of hydraulic sealing unit.
