FIELD: commercial fishery. SUBSTANCE: crab catcher has carcass defining inlet opening and netted covering. Carcass carries device for preventing exit of object to be caught from catcher. This device has flexible plates provided with removable attachment units allowing plates to be fixed on carcass. Attachment units are formed as clips. Flexible plates are attached in succession so as to define pyramid-shaped figure overlapping inlet opening, with apex of pyramid being oriented inward of catcher. Flexible plates are arranged so as to define spaces between their side edges. EFFECT: simplified construction and enhanced reliability in operation. 7 cl, 7 dwg
