FIELD: fish industry. SUBSTANCE: trap has a framework shaped as a rectangle with cutoff corners. The trap is provided with a selective net cover and symmetric inlets arranged so that their mouths are in the plane of the corner cut or side walls of the framework. The trap is also provided with devices for unloading of the catch and destruction of the trap in the case it is lost. The first device is a truncated pyramid with its bigger base lying in the plane passing through the rectangle corners of one end of the framework, and the smaller base is a door with spring-loaded clips locking the door by means of spring-loaded pins. The other device is formed by radial holes and cutouts provided on side surfaces of the clips and perforated plates. The plates are secured on the clips so that their holes match. The plates and clips are fabricated from metals that contact-corrode in sea water. The trap allows for deep water fishing on rocky sea bottom, and its operation may be readily mechanized. EFFECT: no hazard to environment; convenience in operation. 2 cl, 4 dwg
