FIELD: artificial diamondsТ production. SUBSTANCE: carbon melt is accumulated between carbon-containing electrodes, one of them being arranged in horizontal position and the other being vertical. Melt is transferred into liquid hydrocarbon cooler disposed below the melt bath by way of breaking bath bottom, thinned from melting, under impulse excitation from pressure difference: between high pressure of compressed hydrogen in the carbon melt surface zone and low pressure in the liquid cooler zone. Increasing pressure in the latter zone is simultaneously thrown off into atmosphere. EFFECT: increased diamond size. 2 dwg
