SUBSTANCE: steel continuous casting plant includes mold performing oscillation motion in casting direction, joined with oscillation-motion hydraulic drive and mounted on springs tensioned at both their ends and oriented across casting direction. Hydraulic drive includes control hydraulic cylinders 3 arranged in longitudinal-section plane of mold at lateral side of it. Cylinders 3 are clearance-free rigidly joined with carrying frame 1 and with mold. EFFECT: enhanced quality of surface of cast products due to simplified oscillation motion of mold. 6 cl, 4 dwg
