FIELD: crude oil production; sealing of rod of sucker-rod pump. SUBSTANCE: hood secured on pressure flange from chamber for lubricating rod and split rings. Rod and rings are lubricated with lubricant delivered through lubrication fitting in case of oil level drop in well. Lubrication of rings and rod is carried out through return valve and dismounting of split rings for repair is done at lubricant pressure. When carrying out replacement of split rings, rod is hermetically sealed by packer compressed by screws through axle box. Packer rests against lower holder thus creating interference between packer and rod, i. e. wellhead is sealed for safe replacement of stuffing boxes. EFFECT: enhanced serviceability of casing-head stuffing box at oil level drop in well and repairability of stuffing box. 3 dwg
