FIELD: construction machinery and equipment. SUBSTANCE: in operation of asphalt spreader, material is delivered from two separately located receiving bowls simultaneously to two independent transportation systems for further delivery to each of asphalt spreading devices which are located subsequently one after another with certain displacement in direction of working travel of machine. Material is spread in two courses at same time. One course of asphalt is laid upon other course and both courses are compacted. In asphalt spreading and compacting machine, receiving device for preliminary storing of hot asphalt mix is made up of two separated receiving bowls. Each bowl supplies asphalt mix to individual transportation system. Asphalt spreading device is made in the form of spreading augers. Aforesaid embodiment of asphalt spreading and compaction machine allows for achieving high level of compaction without raising temperature of treatment and without increasing compaction cost.
