SUBSTANCE: asphalt transporter comprises a device for receiving material for receiving asphalt for a road surface, and a receiving conveyor connected to a device for receiving material. Receiving conveyor is actuated by drive chain assembly and includes chain tension adjustment device. Receiving conveyor can turn about mainly horizontal axis so that its movement is provided between transportation position, intermediate position of adjustment and working position, at which device for receiving material is in lowered position. Housing design encloses protected components and includes a hole located next to protected components. Combined door-platform is connected to the housing structure and is intended for movement between the closed position, at which the hole is closed, and an open position providing access to the protected components, and also forms a platform, on which the operator can stand to provide access to the chain tension adjustment unit.
EFFECT: invention relates to an asphalt transporter equipped with a combined device which combines a door and a platform to provide access to multiple components of a receiving conveyor of an asphalt transporter.
