FIELD: construction engineering. SUBSTANCE: this method can be used in building of bases and foundations primarily on loose grounds and in compaction of bottom work face of cast-in-place piles. Method implies imbedding or sinking of lumpy rock material or harsh concrete mix into ground. Surface layer of local ground is spread in separate sections with intervals between them which are filled with mineral ground. This mineral ground is pressure-forced into loose ground. Intervals are filled up to level of surface layer with subsequent compaction of surface layer. Before spreading of surface layer, placed on layer of loose ground are flexible members with guide sections on their ends. After pressure-forcing of mineral ground, measured is length of ends of flexible members protruding above surface of sunken ground. This length of ends of flexible members is indicative of dimensions of imbedding zone. Application of aforesaid method creates conditions for formation of body of sunken ground having no definite geometric configuration. It also allows for control of dimensions of sunken body of imbedded ground and for increased depth of penetrating imbedded ground into loose ground. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 4 dwg
