FIELD: water supply systems. SUBSTANCE: devices and mechanisms intended for utilization of underground water and particularly to water-intake structures intended for pumping out artesian water and delivering it to trunk pipelines of municipal water supply systems. Device has following components: electrically-driven pump, pressure head pipeline, and hydraulic sealing unit which is made up of body and inflatable chamber. Upper rim of inflatable chamber is mounted on upper flange of body of hydraulic sealing unit. Also provided is settler allowing to substantially reduce degree of fouling of inflatable chamber and plugging it with sand. Settler is made in the form of cup which is narrowing downwards. Settler is installed in pressure head pipeline with provision of clearance between its upper flange which has row of through-holes and body of hydraulic sealing unit. Lower rim of inflatable chamber is mounted on upper flange of settler. Pressure head pipeline is provided with pipes for branching water to settler hollow. Aforesaid embodiment of water-lifting device ensures prolonged period of its functioning without any maintenance of hydraulic sealing unit. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 2 dwg
