FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: pump comprises a body, where a shaft with an impeller and guide vanes installed in it. The body is made with a spiral bend and comprises outer and inner turns with inlet spiral and outlet diffuser sections, serially connected to each other in the inner turn and via a bypass section in the outer one. The sum of areas of initial cross section (CS) of the inner turn and the bypass section of the outer turn is equal to the area of output section of the spiral area in the outer turn, and the sum of similar areas of initial CS of the outer turn and an adjacent diffuser section of the inner turn is equal to the area of the output CS of the spiral section of the inner turn. The outer and inner turns are separated with an inner-bend wall, which in the area of adjacent diffuser sections divides their CS areas at the inlet, accordingly, at the ratio of 1.5±0.15.
EFFECT: higher efficiency factor of the pump with reduction of power inputs for pumping with simultaneous increase of reliability and resource of pump operation, which is achieved by the pump body shape with a double-turn twisting of the discharge flow of pumped liquid at the found configuration of spiral, bypass and diffuser sections and ratio of areas of their initial and output sections.
