FIELD: refrigerating engineering. SUBSTANCE: refrigerating plant has chamber with products to be cooled inside it end liquid refrigerant source connected with heat exchanger connected in its turn to distributing collector fitted with sprayer. Mounted inside chamber are two or more racks with shelves arranged in tiers. Racks are located in parallel. Distributing collector is located opposite end rack. Provision is also made for second distributing collector mounted opposite second end rack. Sectional heat exchanger has at least one section in form of parallel horizontal tubes. Each section of heat exchanger is located between racks and each sprayer of collector and each horizontal tube of heat exchanger is located opposite inter-shelf gap of each rack. EFFECT: smooth freezing over entire volume of chamber.
