FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for treatment of a spinal curvature and correction of the individual's posture. Device for treatment of a spinal curvature comprises elements producing force impacts on elements of the spine. These elements are made in the shape of two units arranged on both sides of the spine. Each unit is assembled by serial alternation of ribs and rods pressed into the ribs bushings, and every rib of one unit is flexibly connected with a rib of the second unit. Rods are made of a material with the value of modulus of elasticity smaller than that of the ribs. Every rib includes a plate bent along the line separating a bent section of the rib from the rest of the plate attached to the bushing. Bent sections of ribs located in the upper part of spinal convexity are directed downward and to the patient's body. Bent sections of ribs located below the convexity of the spine, but on the side of the convexity are directed upward and to the patient's body, as well as bent sections of ribs located in the upper part of the back on the other side of the convexity of the spine. Bent sections of ribs arranged on the other side of the convexity of the spine, but below the said convexities are directed downward and to the body of the patient. There are slots in ribs for fixing of ends of belts, designed for pairwise fastening of every pair of these belts located in different blocks at the same height level on the patient's chest.
EFFECT: invention allows to exclude additional load on vertebral column.
