FIELD: metallurgy; may be used in reconditioning working walls of mold of continuous casting machine. SUBSTANCE: working walls of copper or its alloys are subjected to shot-blasting before coating of worn areas adjacent to mold corners and located in lower part of wall working surfaces, and then wear-resistant coating based on copper-nickel alloys is applied to them. Shot-blasting is carried out to treat the areas with width exceeding the worn areas by at least 0.5 width of sprayed strip. Deposited onto worn-out areas by spraying is gas-terminal coating of not more than 3.0 mm thick. EFFECT: simplified technology .
