FIELD: organosilicon compounds. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to organosilicon compounds employed in producing various-type polymer silicon-containing compounds and consists in treating trimethylchlorosilane-silicon tetrachloride mixture with a reagent in presence of acid catalyst followed by isolation of trimethylchlorosilane by rectification. Reagent is product of alkoxylation of high-boiling residues from direct synthesis of methylchlorosilanes containing 30 to 60 wt % of alkoxy groups. EFFECT: simplified procedure. 5 ex
