SUBSTANCE: invention relates to organosilicon compounds employed in producing various-type polymer silicon-containing compounds and consists in treating trimethylchlorosilane-silicon tetrachloride mixture with reagents I or II in presence of acid catalyst followed by isolation of trimethylchlorosilane by rectification.
