FIELD: bridge building industry. SUBSTANCE: reinforced concrete girder span structure of railway bridge is of box cross-section having horizontal upper slab, vertical or inclined walls, and lower slab. Box-section span structure rests on supports through movable and stationary supporting parts and on its upper horizontal slab it has ballasted bridge bed with jointless railway track. Secured by embedded members on part of length of span structure at side of its movable end over upper horizontal slab is metal plate which is coated atop with antifriction material. Applied to metal plate is coating made of material which is antifrictional at bottom. Glued to antifrictional coating is protective metal sheet with embedded members protruding upwards. Aforesaid embodiment of span structure ensures reduction of longitudinal forces occurred due to combined temperature working of box-section span structure and rails of ballasted bridge bed. At same time prevented is appearance of large clearances at points of casual breakage of rails due to arrangement of connection between ballast pad of bridge bed and upper slab of span structure ensuring reduced resistance to displacement of end of span structure. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 3 dwg
