Abstract RU 2119577 C1

FIELD: oil production industry. SUBSTANCE: this relates to electrode-type heaters which are used in recovery of high-viscous paraffined oil. For more reliability together with higher power capacity of heater, tubular metal body which functions as electrode is made in the form of integral hermetic chamber. Coaxially installed inside chamber is metal rod or electrode. Lower end of rod is insulated by head-piece made of dielectric material and is inserted into centering slot of body. Required working pressure in chamber is determined by design relation of height of dielectric head-piece, volume of electrolyte, maximal volume of chamber, and strength characteristics of body. In aforesaid embodiment of heater, vapor pressure and temperature are stabilized at working values irrespective of heater lowering depth. Heating is automatically discontinued at alarmingly low heat removal. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 1 dwg
