FIELD: biotechnology. SUBSTANCE: method involves culturing yeast on nutrient medium containing sources of carbon, nitrogen, phosphorus, trace and macroelements, growth stimulating agents under aeration. After culturing biomass is separated from cultural fluid by centrifugation, washed out and yeast milk is obtained. Then iodine, carbohydrate source and oxidizing agent are added to yeast milk. Hydrogen peroxide or ozone is used as an oxidizing agent at amount 2-6% and 0.8-2% to dry yeast matter, respectively. Method ensures to obtain iodine-containing yeast biomass. Invention can be used for production of baking yeast, curative-prophylaxis preparations, taste and food additions based on yeast biomass. EFFECT: improved method of yeast producing. 4 cl
