FIELD: mechanical engineering; compressors. SUBSTANCE: method and device are designed to create temporary resistance on way of delivered gas flow in compressor with gas static centering of piston in process of compressor starting for provision of quick transfer for noncontact operating conditions. Resistance of delivery valve is increased for a period of compressor starting. If several delivery valves are provided, some of them are completely closed for period of starting. Device creating temporary resistance in delivery line has resilient member. One surface of resilient member is in contact with ambient medium, while the other, with delivery space and is provided with unit limiting displacement of delivery valve shutoff member. Resilient member can be made in the form of diaphragm of bellows. EFFECT: increased economy, and enhanced reliability of compressor. 7 cl, 3 dwg
