FIELD: manufacture of building materials. SUBSTANCE: rotary furnace includes cylindrical body mounted on base, movable casing secured on this body embracing it by circular gap, chute passed into circular gap, and branch pipes passed from circular gap inside body. Branch pipes are so mounted that end of each branch pipe located inside body lies at the bottom when branch pipe is in upper position. Casing is provided with guide member over its periphery. Branch pipes are provided with ladle located in circular gap near outlet end of guide member and are closed by end wall of casing on opposite side. Wall of branch pipe is thickened on side of motion of dust-and-gas flow. Wall is streamlined on the outside. Outlet portion of chute is located in zone of guide member below axis of furnace; angle of inclination of chute and angle of plates of guide member shall be no less than angle of repose of material being delivered. Furnace is provided with shield secured on its base; cylindrical portion of this shield is mounted in movable casing on which seal is secured. This seal is pressed to cylindrical portion of shield and is provided with inclined plates on inner surface. EFFECT: avoidance of pouring of material out of casing and shield outside. 2 dwg
