FIELD: building materials industry, more particularly manufacture of portland cement clinker. SUBSTANCE: method comprises feeding raw mix with saturation coefficient of 0.92-2.10 from cold end of rotary furnace, and into hot zone of temperatures from 550 to 1200 C with saturation coefficient of 0.05-0.50 and melting temperature of 1100-1150 C, third stream being further fed in the form of dry ground raw mix with saturation coefficient of 0.52-1.20 and calcination loss of 10-27% in amount of 15-40% of weight of stream fed from cold end of furnace calculated for dry matter. EFFECT: of passage capacity of preparatory zones of rotary furnace and better preparation of the material being calcined without additional consumption of heat for evaporation of moisture and decarbonization of CaCO3. 1 tbl
