FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves sampling mixed saliva and determining cholesterol esters contents by means of continuous flow thin layer chromatography. Cholesterol esters contents in mixed saliva being detected to be 4.5 mg per 100 ml of mixed saliva, active caries development course is predicted to be probable. EFFECT: enhanced accuracy of prediction; high sensitivity of method.
