FIELD: prosthetics. SUBSTANCE: given method includes manufacture of anatomic model negative, filling of negative with model material, extraction of formed positive from negative after model material is hardened. Model material is poured into negative at temperature of paste-like state. After pouring, model material is subjected to forced cooling from outside and inside at average rate not exceeding 1+0.1 C/min at temperature difference between internal and external cooling surfaces of at least 5-7 C. Thermoplastic low-melting composition is used as model material. Device intended for method realization has negative with insert placed inside it and appliance for model material pouring. Device also includes reservoir for arrangement of negative, melting chamber positioned upstream of pouring appliance for model material, and thermal control system with heat carrier supply device and temperature-sensitive element. Insert has airtight space formed by internal walls and external surface of tube for model material pouring secured along insert vertical axis. One end of tube communicates with model material supply device. Second end of tube is coupled to space between external surface of insert and internal surface of negative. Airtight cavity of insert and free volume of space between its internal surface and external surface of negative communicate with heat-carrier supply devices of thermal control system. Temperature-sensitive elements are installed on external surface of insert and internal surface of negative. Composition for model material formation includes model-wax compound MBC-3A into which pigmentary aluminum powder is introduced. In this case, relation of ingredients (in per cent mass) is as follows: model-wax compound MBC-3A, 66-70 and pigmentary aluminum powder, 34-30. EFFECT: reduced time of anatomic model manufacturing process, enhanced quality. 3 cl, 3 tbl, 1 dwg
