FIELD: prosthesis. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has melting bath positioned in front of pouring device for model material, vessel or negative, negative, and insert arranged inside negative. Insert has hermetically sealed cavity defined by internal walls and outer surface axially fixed by tube. Insert cavity and free space of vessel between its internal surface and negative external surface are communicated with heat-carrier supplying device. External surface of insert is covered with layer of flexible porous air-permeable material and resilient air-impermeable casing is put onto said layer. Casing is fixed over insert external surface at level higher than model material pouring level. Upper end of insert tube is communicated with atmosphere and lower end - with volume defined by resilient air-impermeable casing. Apparatus is used for manufacture of receptacle sleeves of lower and upper limb prosthesis by complex anatomical models equipped with undercutting and surfaces with portions sloped in different directions. Apparatus of such construction does not require employment of complicated temperature regulating equipment. EFFECT: improved quality of casting, reduced cooling time and increased efficiency. 1 dwg
