FIELD: sports equipment. SUBSTANCE: skate for moving over ice surface has outer shoe 1, skate blade attached to sole of outer shoe, and inner shoe 9 positioned within outer shoe so as to embrace at least rear part of foot, including heel and ankle, and for effectuating rotational motion around axis 10 extending transverse to inner sole of outer shoe 1 forward of talocrural articulation. The portion of inner shoe sole positioned rearward of axis of rotation is free relative to inner sole of outer shoe. As a result, rear part of inner shoe moves in conjunction with foot, with up motion of foot portion adjoining heel being restricted. Such construction allows certain degree of mobility of foot rear portion and at the same time lateral stability between foot and shoe to be provided.
