FIELD: sports.

SUBSTANCE: claimed invention relates to sports equipment, namely skates for skating on ice. The skate comprising a shoe with a tip part and a heel part which together form the longitudinal axis of the skate. The holder has one closed chamber and one opening, formed by side walls which extend through the said one closed chamber, transversely of the said longitudinal skate axis. The blade system has a lower surface of the first predetermined curvature and the first part of the blade system engagement. The rotary retaining clamp pivotally mounted on the holder and substantially located in the said closed chamber of the holder for moving between the position of the blade securing and the position of the blade release. The said rotary retaining clamp has retaining engagement part accessible through the first opening in the holder to the chamber and the disengagement lever, accessible through the said at least one opening to move the rotary retaining clamp between the position of the blade securing and the position of the blade release, at that the movement of the disengagement lever from the lower surface moves the rotary retaining clamp to the position of the blade release.

EFFECT: technical result is to eliminate inadvertent release of the skate edge.
