SUBSTANCE: invention relates to sharpening and shaping blades for ice skating, used in skates, in sports sleighs, bobsled sleighs, and so forth. Device for grinding of skate blade comprises processor, data input means, skate holder, measuring device and sharpening device. Data input means are connected to the processor and allow the user to select the blade sharpening option. Holder of skates is made with possibility of retaining skate in apparatus in fixed position for sharpening with subsequent removal. Measuring device is connected to the processor and has the possibility of measuring the shape, and the sharpening device is connected to the processor so that the operation of the blade sharpening is performed proceeding from the selected option for adjustment of the blade of the required shape. Disclosed are methods of sharpening and sharpening of blade for rolling on ice, as well as systems for measurement and sharpening of blade, in which said methods are used.

EFFECT: as a result, accuracy of profiling and sharpening of blades for ice rolling increases with increase of number of possible versions of blades for convenience of user.
