FIELD: chemical industry. SUBSTANCE: liquid oil-containing slurry is hardened with mixture which contains 30-50% portland cement and 50-70 peat, preferably heat treated at 200-400 C. Preferred composition makes it possible to increase decontamination of liquid oil-containing slurries till they are hardened to composite materials from which oil hydrocarbons are extracted with water and water extract has COM of 310-850 mg/l which index is by 10-15 times lower than that of slurry.
