FIELD: firearms, muffling of noise, change of character and intensity of factors unmasking shots. SUBSTANCE: noise muffler includes gas conduit and device for preliminary tapping of powder gases with expansion chamber joined to it which has partitions and evaporating heat exchanger forming gas dynamic vibration generator, device for release of gases having diameter bigger than that of gas conduit which has hole in end face partition that is uniaxial to outlet hole. Device is linked to gas conduit by means of adapter-diffuser. Space of expansion chamber and diameter of outlet hole can be regulated. EFFECT: noise muffler ensures depression and change of character of noise, change of character and intensity of unmasking factors of shots in visible and infrared regions. 4 cl, 1 dwg
