FIELD: radio engineering; broadcasting at ultrashort-wave frequencies. SUBSTANCE: antenna has one or more vertical dipoles coaxially arranged one on top of other and one or more metal posts of support parallel to dipoles but not coaxial to them. Mounted at support posts symmetrically relative to them are one or more pairs of vertical members whose length is half the wavelength; axes of members are in plane crossing support posts and perpendicular to direction from dipole axis to post axis. EFFECT: provision for almost circular directivity pattern of antenna in horizontal plane in spite of vertical metal posts. 5 dwg
