FIELD: radio engineering. SUBSTANCE: antenna that can be used for VHF FM broadcasting and personal radio communications has dipole with shunts made of two-wire sections of long line. Dipole is provided with horizontal open-circuit conducting rings rotating in different directions and is rigidly fixed by means of connecting strip on support arranged in parallel with dipole. High impedance is set up at points of connection of horizontal conductors within 100-108 MHz frequency band so that polarized vertical wave is radiated at mentioned frequencies. Antenna as a whole is excited in frequency band of 65.9-74 MHz. Current is distributed through antenna so that its greatest portion flows through horizontal conducting rings which corresponds to horizontal polarization of antenna. In frequency band of 27-29 MHz current is uniformly distributed through length of vertical and horizontal conductors enabling dual polarization of radio waves. EFFECT: provision for nondirectional radiation characteristics in three frequency bands at different types of polarization. 10 dwg
