FIELD: oil refining, particularly, thermal reforming of naphtha, gasoline-ligroin fractions and gas condensate fractions. SUBSTANCE: deep vapor phase thermal cracking is carried out at temperature of 530-600 C, pressure of 3.0-7.5 MPa, residence time from 5 s to 5 min, and fractionation and separation are carried out at pressure of 1.2-2.0 MPa. The claimed method makes it possible to increase octane number of light directly distilled oil fractions by 20-30 points. EFFECT: improved properties of the gasolines. 1 dwg, 3 ex, 2 tbl
