ROTARY-VANE INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINES Russian patent published in 1998 - IPC

Abstract RU 2121065 C1

FIELD: mechanical engineering, transport, power engineering; transport and stationary internal combustion engines. SUBSTANCE: engines have bypass valves 7, 9 installed in seats 5. In first engine combustion chamber formed by wall of seat and end face spaces of one of bypass valves consists of two compartments 10, 11. Cutout to let working medium in and out is made on side surface of each compartment. Second gas turbine engine consists of two sections. Working medium in first section is delivered to companion combustion chamber. Combustion products of second chamber act onto rotor vanes. Third engine consists of three sections and it has con denser and steam generator. In first section, working medium is supplied to combustion chamber, in second section combustion products act onto vanes, and in third section steam formed owing to heating of water acts onto vanes. EFFECT: provision of compact construction featuring high specific consumption of materials. 4 cl, 18 dwg
